reed: weeks 41 - 43

It's been a few weeks since we've blogged here...partly because I came home from Mexico, Grandma Pearson left, we've had nice weather and we are in the midst of finding out where we move to in 6 DAYS! The life of the Bechtel family, not knowing where we are going less than a week out :) Reed was fabulous while I was in Mexico and both he and Grandma really enjoyed their time together. He is still teething a bit and those top two teeth are just waiting to break through. Hopefully they do this before we leave or it could make for an even better road trip ;) He is still doing 3-4 steps on his own before taking a huge leap of faith into our arms...or the floor! We met another Bechtel Mom and daughter and have been hanging out with them a lot- which has been super...wish we met them back when they got on the project in January! We visited Put In Bay one last time, met the Easter Bunny, went to the park and participated in his first Easter Egg Hunt and enjoyed his last snow fall on April 14th!!!! Reed is a little fire ball and we love him to pieces!

reed: week 40

Our little boy is a total little man these days....eating like a champ, owning his walker, taking his first few steps, standing by himself and getting his curious little hands into everything :) He is still teething like crazy- assuming it is still those top two. He walks to the mail room with his walker everyday and then meets Dad at the door at 5:15! He loves his walker but it getting so good with his balance that he takes his hands off and stands alone. He took his first few steps a few nights ago although he still has a little work to do there! He's just a happy little camper and a smart little guy. Grandma Pearson comes today to stay for the week while I go to Mexico for my brothers wedding...first real trip away from the little guy and I know I will miss him like crazy!!
