belly: 37 weeks

Today we hit the 37 week mark, which means we are considered full term! I feel good but getting more pains and definitely more and more swollen. I am ready to meet this little dude and get this body back :)

Today was my LAST day of work at Huron Family Dental Center!!! I woke up to this fabulous card (upper left picture) from my husband that sang "Celebrate Good Times", which kicked off the day with a bang and then came home to a nice bottle of wine and my favorite flowers!! Brian got to enjoy the wine (as usual!) since a few sips brought on some bad heartburn for this lady, which means my glass of wine was a few tums!

Crazy to believe that Brian and I will be parents soon and I am getting so excited and anxious for the big day to arrive. My dreams have been unreal lately- so vivid and spot on with what Brian and I are going through. Lets just hope lasts nights dream comes true and labor is easy breezy and Reed is a breast feeding champ!

We had our second ultrasound this morning, which was just as awesome as the first one in February. It was neat to see how much Reed has developed! He is the cutest thing ever (I am sure all parents say that about their kids- right!) and we are so excited to meet him and see this smirk in person in 30 days or less! He is measuring in at 37 weeks 3 days, which is a week and a half further than what I am. As of today he is weighing in at 7 pounds 4 ounces, so looks like we are going to be having one big healthy boy join our family soon! After the ultrasound we had the first weekly check up which went well. Dr said Reed hasn't dropped too much but that I was beginning to thin out and get softer! After all this Brian and I got a quick workout in (since our gym is in the same building) and then went to the hospital where we finally got our paperwork to do before hand and got a tour of the facility. It's all becoming so real and we are over the moon with excitement! We can't wait to meet our little Reed Stephen Pearson :)

belly: 36 weeks

Exactly 36 weeks in this picture. Technically 4 weeks to go...although at our last Dr. visit we were measuring about a week to a week and a half ahead of schedule so they had us schedule a second ultrasound to see some stats! I am feeling good but really big these days. Getting out of bed a few times throughout the night is no longer an easy task. I am getting a little swollen too- my engagement/wedding bands now fit "properly" and people have noticed my ankles but they have always been more "cankley" to me so it's harder for me to notice! Reed is moving like a mad man in my belly. We played with him last night with the flash light again and it is so neat to watch him push and see my belly rise! We could feel his foot which was awesome. He probably didn't appreciate us harassing him like that...

I officially have 3 days of work left and then looking forward to a little relaxation before the chaos begins...which will  hopefully be sooner than later :)

belly: 34 weeks

34 weeks down, 6 weeks to go!!!! Feels like 6 weeks is a long time away but it will be here before we know it :) Brian and I took Patron for a walk before this picture. It was gorgeous out so we skipped the gym and took Patron to the park and then we went and bought Reed a Powerball ticket, since it was at 222 million (he didn't win, nobody did)! Feeling good but walks are getting slower and slower these days. The waddle is creeping in! 

We have another doctors visit tomorrow, one of the last 2 week check ups before we move to the weekly ones! Saturday we will go register at the hospital and take a tour of where Reed will be born, we are super excited for this! We will also be working on the nursery this weekend, so final pictures of Reed's room will be coming soon. We need to organize and put all the awesome goodies away from the shower, thanks again everyone! xo

Baby Reed got showered at the office last week, which was awesome! Dr. Ryu's wife, Kimberly, organized a lunch for all of us and it was a good time with more spoiling of Baby Reed! The girls made this fabulous biker (top left picture) that had diapers for wheels, bibs for fenders, swaddle blankets and socks for the handle bars, bottle for the headlight and then a blue elephant riding it all! It is so creative I can't take seem to take it apart :) Dr. Ryu and his wife catered in some lunch, treated us to his homemade lettuce wraps and got the most delicious cake to munch on so we were all in heaven! In the bottom picture, Dr. Ryu is holding his 4 month belly (he says) in spirit of Reed. It has been a great 2+ years working with these guys and I am looking forward to introducing Reed to them!

Today marks 33 weeks...7 weeks to go!!!

I am feeling good but larger than life and can't believe we have 7 more weeks of growing :) Reed has been moving like crazy and we can now see my belly move, which is awesome! We can not believe we are almost there and get more excited as the days pass. We are ready to meet our little guy!

Our doctors visit went well last week- she really just wanted to make sure Mom and Baby sounded good after all the traveling, which we did so that was nice to hear. We officially have a pediatrician, so we are making headway on the important things! We register at the hospital next week since we will finally make the cut of 34 weeks- our hospital requires you to be that far along otherwise they have you go to a larger hospital in Cleveland or Toledo. We are excited to do the walk through and get this paperwork out of the way... Knocking things off the list before Reed Stephen arrives!
